The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is on the doorstep, while Sea Point beaches are two kilometres away. The hotel is six kilometres from Table Mountain.
Hotel Features. Converted from a former warehouse, the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is now ultra modern inside. The lobby provides a 24 hour front desk offering currency exchange and tourist information on Cape Town's attractions.
Designed to look like a working film set with lights and cameras, The Set restaurant serves international cuisine. Californian beaches are the theme of The Beach House which serves snacks and cocktails around the clock. Also open 24 hours, the hotel's Out of Africa Lounge is decorated with African artworks and serves speciality coffees and light meals. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast daily.

From Cape Town International Airport (CPT):
Distance to Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is 20 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there.. Taxis are available from the airport's authorised taxi company, Touch Down. Travellers are advised not to use unauthorised taxis. The fare to the city centre is approximately 200 ZAR. Door to door shuttle buses are available, and can be pre booked at arrivals. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is on the corner of Somerset and Ebenezer roads. Trains and buses run throughout the city, but driving is the best way to get around. Many attractions are clearly signposted, however, parking can be difficult. Taxis are available but can be expensive. There is car parking at the hotel (surcharge).
Driving directions. From Cape Town International Airport:
Take the N2 and follow the signs into Cape Town.
Take the Waterfront turn off until you reach Coen Steytler Avenue.
At the third set of traffic lights, turn right into Somerset Road.
At the second set of traffic lights, turn right for the hotel.
